Judy, thanks for the advice.
I personally feel that if I'm comfortable...I'm doing
something wrong, or not taking advantage of all that I
could. In otherwords, I know I'm missing something,
in business or life in general, if I'm not just a
little "twitchy", like on the cutting the edge or edge of my chair. I'm personally a pretty "iffy" golfer but, I also know if you don't practice, play, test, question...you'll not get better and you will get worse by changing in the short run...in the long run you'll be picking up a few bucks more on the course from your friends!!
And, if I'm not real busy, I know I'm not performing up to my ability...just as simple as that!

Thanks, Vickie. You've got me curious. What made you decide to change the focus of your business and what's the new focus?
Inquiring minds want to know <grin>

You hit the nail on the head, Judy! I just went through this same process.

I recently changed my company name, my focus, my target market and my website. Some thought I was crazy. After all, I was becoming known, my company was becoming known, the transcription business was booming. But I knew I wasn't being all that I could be.

So I changed everything. And even before the process was complete, I knew I'd made the right decision. I am getting referrals every week, my business is growing, and most importantly, I am now conveying the message I want to convey.

Was it uncomfortable? Absolutely! Has it taken my business to the next level? Absolutely! Would I have had the courage to do this a year ago? No. It took a leap of faith. And it took looking beyond the small picture and seeing what the big picture could look like.
